Governing Body Lay Member Appointment

NHS Thanet Clinical Commissioning Group is seeking to appoint a Lay Member to join the governing body. You will have responsibility for ensuring that the CCG has excellent engagement with local public and patients. 

The appointment will be for three years from 1st April 2015. 

It is anticipated that lay members will be required to give between 2. to 4 days per month. Remuneration will be determined in line with the recommendations of the NHS, circa £6k per annum. Some time commitment may be required in the evenings. There will be travel within the Clinical Commissioning Group boundary and some further afield. Applicants will either need to live within the local area, be registered with one of our member GP practices or be able to demonstrate how they are able to bring this perspective to the governing body.
