Improving access to non-emergency Patient Transport

Patients helped Kent CCGs review the non-emergency patient transport service.

You said

There should be an improvement in the service offered and patients should be involved in making it better.

We did

We worked with patients to develop a Patient Transport Charter and they were involved in the appointment of G4S as the new provider of patient transport in Kent and Medway. Patients also stressed that it was important that they were able to give feedback about the service they receive so  we made sure that it was easy for them to leave feedback online or by ringing 0800 953 4139 or by emailing KM.PTS1@NHS.NET. They can also write a letter to G4S Patient Transport Services,  Swift House, 18 Hoffmans Way, Chelmsford, Essex. CM1 1GU.
