The following websites include a wealth of support, information and advice to help you stay healthy and happy.

Thanet support

Health Help Now

The NHS in Kent has a website and app, Health Help Now, to help you find the treatment for health problems, especially when you not sure what to do or who to contact. It includes a symptom checker, health advice and up-to-date information about local services including GPs, pharmacies and hospitals. 

NHS Choices

National website with a vast range of information and support including an A-Z guide to conditions and treatments and a facility to search for local health services.

The Kent Health and Wellbeing website has information about a vast range of local services available to help you stay fit, healthy and well.

Staying active

Thanet District Council has an online guide to sports and recreation facilities in the district including details of clubs and societies you can join and free activities for young people through the Sport 4 NRG programme. 

Healthy eating

The NHS Eatwell guide shows how much of what we eat overall should come from each food group to achieve a healthy, balanced diet. You can also access information about healthy cooking and the foods to avoid eating too much of.
